Cancellation Policy
At Patamali, we aim to create a fair and predictable experience for both guests and hosts. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings made through the Patamali platform unless otherwise stated in a specific property listing.
Free Cancellation Period
Guests may cancel their booking free of charge up to fourteen (14) days before the scheduled check-in date.
If a cancellation is made during this period, the guest will receive a full refund of the booking amount.
Cancellation Within 14 Days of Check-In
If a guest cancels within fourteen (14) days of the scheduled check-in date, a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the total booking amount will apply.
From this cancellation fee:
- Patamali retains its standard 10% platform commission
- The remaining amount is paid to the host as compensation for the late cancellation
The remaining 75% of the booking amount will be refunded to the guest.
No-Show Policy
If a guest fails to check in without cancelling the booking, the same cancellation terms apply and 25% of the total booking amount may be retained as a cancellation fee.
Refund Processing
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method used for the booking.
Processing times may vary depending on:
- the payment provider
- the bank or financial institution involved
Changes to Bookings
Guests who wish to change their stay dates are encouraged to contact the host or Patamali as early as possible.
Changes may be possible depending on:
- property availability
- host approval
Exceptional Circumstances
In rare situations involving force majeure events (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other extraordinary circumstances), Patamali may review cancellations on a case-by-case basis.
